The tour kicks off in Arlington, Texas, August 31, when No. 12 LSU takes on No. 20 TCU in the Cowboys Classic.
o 1999 Doak Walker Award winner LaDainian Tomlinson, who led the NCAA in rushing during back-to-back seasons at TCU, will appear at 2:30 p.m., participating in both a Chalk Talk session with ESPN anchor Neil Everett and an autograph session with fans.
o 1987 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown will discuss his legendary football career during a 4:30 p.m. Chalk Talk session with Everett.
o LSU’s All-America cornerback Morris Claiborne, who claimed the 2011 Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s best defensive back, takes the microphone at 5 p.m. for Chalk Talk with Everett and will sign autographs immediately afterward.
Nissan and ESPN invite fans to “Get to know the Heismans” during a pre-game experience that celebrates college football’s most outstanding players. The Nissan Heisman House Tour is making stops at 10 marquee matchups this season, including its ultimate destination of Pasadena for the 2014 BCS Championship Game. Admission to the tour is free.
